But did you know that Cal Prep's Director of Restorative Justice, Ms. Trish, doesn't need to take the poll. She knows what she likes. Vans. Yep.Some Cal Prep students may collect stamps, sports cards, or comic books. But Ms. Trish cherishes Vans. In fact, she owns more than 150 pair. She keeps them stacked in their shoe-boxes back home.
If you have been called into the Wellness Center, you may have noticed her feet tucked under her desk, clad in fashionable Vans, maybe her latest pair. Last week, a reporter from The Grizzly Posts was meeting with Ms. Trish as a new pair of colorful Vans arrived. Cal Prep's director of Restorative Justice was beaming as she opened up the box and tissue paper rustled. The Grizzly Posts asked Ms. Trish why she liked Vans.
Her reply? " Vans with all their different patterns and colors just make me happy. "
Ms. Trish pulls her latest pair of Vans from out of the box. She waves her newest pair of Vans in the air for the Grizzly Post reporter to photograph. "Vans are also affordable. I'm not going to pay $120 for a pair of Jordans." She laughs. "Heck no!"
