Free Advice From a Tenants' Lawyer
You're not alone. It's not easy finding affordable housing in the Richmond area and many of our Cal Prep families have to double up and even while holding down two jobs they may sometimes find it hard to pay all the bills.
If your parents or guardians are having trouble with a landlord you can get free advice from a lawyer. The Eviction Defense Center of Oakland, free "Lawyer In the Library" service offers free legal advice for tenants twice a month at two Richmond Library locations.
