The chess club was started at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school semester for high school and middle school started by high school juniors and the wonderful Ms. Hollyman. It has an average of 20 members and the club is always looking for new members to join. There are snacks for people in the club and for new individuals who’re willing to play and learn. One of the newest members, who didn’t have any prior knowledge about chess just 3 weeks ago, recently won in a match against another junior member with 20 dollars on the line. The next success story could be yours! Come stop by at lunchtime every Thursday to play.
