We are now entering the final week of school before the much-anticipated October break (10/2 - 10/), which I know many of you have been eagerly looking forward to. As a friendly reminder, this entire week we will have minimum days, and we will also be hosting in-person parent/teacher conferences from 2 - 4pm.

I am grateful to each and every one of you, Cal Prep's Grizzlies, for your efforts to help create a safe and nurturing school environment. As students, your dedication to preventing bullying while using kind words and actions are instrumental to create the ideal conditions for effective learning to take place. By taking responsibility for your actions, not being told to do so by adults, you are helping to embrace our beautiful and unified community. Remember, it all begins with little things...holding doors open for others, picking up trash and respecting all. Thank you all for your contributions, both big and small.

Additionally, I would like to recognize Yom Kippur for those of you observing and celebrating it.

Wishing each and every one of you a productive and successful week ahead. Remember, “What we do is more important than what we say or what we say we believe.” - bell hooks
